Tennessee then defeated Indianapolis 19-16 and handed Jacksonville their only three losses of the entire year with a 33-14 AFC Championship victory. In Super Bowl XXXIV, the Titans rallied from a 16-0 deficit against St. Louis, only for Dyson to be tackled one yard short of the goal line as time expired in a memorable 23-16 loss.
